Often referred to as South Africa’s Queen of Rock, Hanlé Barnard has firmly established herself in the South African music scene. Nominated for her music show at the Telkom SA Music Awards in 2022 and a winner in 2023 with HelderbergFm, Hanlé has made a significant impact in promoting South African talent and interviewing some of the world’s top musicians and producers.

A violinist, award-winning actress, playwright, and artist, she has appeared in both local and international films, received a SAFTA nomination, won a Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, and been nominated for a Fiesta Award.

Hanlé delves into the world of music through her podcast and music journalism. She is also a member of the South African electro-rock band Electric Corvette, a co-founder of Artisan Media Works, and collaborates with dvCompTools.
